Big brothers and little sisters.

I thought I'd kick it back old school. I finally found a photo album that I have been searching my house almost 2 years for. In light of this, and because it's almost Halloween, I thought I'd post these 2 pics. (And yes, the torture, pain and suffering of living with 2 older brothers started at this very young age...)

Before: 3 Thumbs up! Little sister in the walker is way cooool!! Yep, that's me, I'm guessing around age 1 with my brothers Kenny (with 2 thumbs up), and Ronny. (BTW, check out the retro-walker with actual wheels!)

After:  What the??? Hey!! Somebody turned out the lights!!
What I wanna know is, where the heck was mom and dad? Oh right!, mom was probably taking the picture... And my brothers? Of course, they're nowhere to be found! (You know I didn't put this mask on all by myself!!)

And now, here's the pictures I've been looking so hard to find, but of course, found them when I wasn't even looking. Whenever somebody tells me that Ysabella 'looks just like me', I used to say: Where? How? I didn't see it. But now that she's growing up and growing tall, and into such a little girl, I'm finally able to see what all these people are referring to. (FYI: the people that say this are usually people I've known my whole life...) 

Here are some pics of my sister Amy and I, taken in 1978. I am 2 years 8 mos older than her. So, that means that at the time this photo was taken, I was almost exactly the same age that Ysabella is right now. I know that I was pretty young, but I very clearly remember when these pictures where taken. This happens to be one of my earliest childhood memories. I'm pretty sure the dress I'm wearing in these photos used to be my cousin Kerry's...I remember feeling like such a 'big girl' in it. I remember holding my sister. Wow, it's crazy to think that Ysabella could, at this very moment, be forming memories in her little brain that she may remember for the rest of her life. I find this all to be so fascinating.

All this to say, I now see what people are talking about. I am finally starting to see a physical resemblance between my daughter and I! (Because there was almost no physical resemblance between Ysabella and I before now...)  Let's just hope she will get her papa's adolescent teeth, cuz maaaan, mine were uuug-ly!!    ;-)

And just because I like to show off my little dark skinned, half-asian baby sister, here's a few more... (HUH?!) Bahahaha!!
