Sweet George

We spent a lovely warm and breezy fall afternoon outside with mommy's friend Miranda and her little-big doggie George. I hesitated to pet and play with him for fear that my allergies would act up. (He felt the need to lick me, nonetheless. What is it about animals that they gravitate to the people with pet allergies? I didn't mind it so much...he's cute! Just rambling, I suppose.) Bella was a tad shy at first. After a few minutes she felt comfortable enough to give his tummy a rub and pet his tail. Such a good puppy, that sweet George. Thanks for the fun, even if it was short lived, as Ysabella went running to chase after the squirrels, run through the leaves, sweep the dirt, collect rocks, ride her tricycle, visit the neighbours....so busy those toddlers!

George tries hard to get Bella's attention. (If I stick out my tongue, maybe she'll notice me??)

After a short while, Bella can't resist George's charm and gives him a pet on the head.

I'm not sure what he did to make her laugh so hard...

Always carrying her pail of rocks...

Oops! Dropped a rock under the table...watch your head!

Thinking this one through. How to manage the stairs, a pail of rocks, and a shovel all at the same time. Such a dilemma.

Ring around the rosey...(Bella now enjoys just turning around and around in circles for the pure pleasure of being dizzy. Yuck. Makes me wanna throw up just thinking about it!) I vote Ed gets to take Bella on all the carnival rides when the time comes! (When did I become such a wimp?)

Love this time of year! (...check out how green the grass is!)

And finally, a holiday weekend and I won't be at work! YAY! I'll attempt to cook a bird on Saturday. (I return to work on Monday.) Very much looking forward to spending the weekend with family and friends, the weather here in Ottawa is suppose to be gorgeous!

Happy Thanksgiving, all!
