Let's hope for a better upcoming 2 weeks! Leticia is on vacation (she's gone to Mexico to visit family), which means we have Bella everyday. Seems silly to be worrying about having to care for our own child everyday for the next two weeks, but I really do think it will be quite stressful! No respite in site. It's not as easy as you would think to come up with new and interesting/stimulating things for a child of 18 mos! So, playgroups, here we come!
A few weeks ago, Ed and I redecorated our bedroom. Our bed finally came in this weekend and Ed went to pick it up. It laid on our living room floor in a giant box until Bella went to bed and we had the time to assemble it. Of course, Bella couldn't resist walking/laying/playing all over it. These were the best pics I could capture yesterday, after working 4- 12 hour shifts, I was one tired mama, so in our pyjamas we stayed.

Multi-tasking. Reading (or rather, looking at pictures), and walking at the same time.

And welcome again to Bebe Samuel! He's 8 weeks old now (already!) and at last weigh-in he was 6lbs 130z (tripling his lowest weight!). Good job mama Pascale! Pascale had her baby shower last Thursday and Samuel was able to meet all of his 'aunts' from the hospital. Here are a few pics from the party.
Auntie Frankie and Sam. I love this pic. He reached out and grabbed a hold of her chin. And wouldn't let go. And she loved it! ;)

Big yawns. I think he's trying to tell me something, what do you think? (Check out his right hand!)

Mama Pascale has some quality grown-up socialization time. Absolutely necessary when you're a new mom.

Finally awake. And wondering where the heck he is, perhaps?

"How you doin'?!"
