Viva Espania!

June 29th was a big day for Spain's National men's soccer team! After many years (44 years to be exact), they have finally won an international title, the 2008 Euro Cup! Way to go, it was well deserved!!! Ed was in his glory as the traditional tournament underachievers pulled together and played some spectacular football! Much to Ed's delight, I gained a new appreciation and love for the sport, thanks to watching the fancy footwork, skill, precision, and teamwork of Spain's players. (I have to admit though, that part of the reason I was so attentive was the fact that there is some very yummy eye candy on the team, especially Iker Casillas, the team's goalkeeper.)

My 2nd favourite man in the world...Iker Casillas, the Spanish goalkeeper, and to be honest, the main reason I sat and watched Spain's games. (Hey, come to think of it, he kinda resembles my hubby, no? NO WONDER I find him so darn attractive!) ;) Too bad he's taken! Here's a pic of his really ugly girlfriend, Miss Universe 2003 contestant and Spanish model Eva Gonzales, who was recently voted the prettiest footballer's girlfriend. She's hideous, isn't she, I mean really, what is he thinking????!!!! ;)

Okay, back to Bella...Here she is making her new favourite silly face. She's been making this face lots lately...and it makes Ed and I laugh every time.
Ed's friend Phil came over to watch the big game, and Bella was on her best behaviour. She even sat on Uncle Phil's lap and watched part of the game with us. She was so excited watching the game that she had to hang on to Phil to contain herself!
Oh no! 15 min with Uncle Phil and the corruption has started already!

and worst of all...listening to what Uncle Phil has to say. Seriously, he could be telling her anything here (notice the look on Ed's face...he looks a bit worried don't you think?? And so he should be...)
