Happy Valentine's Day, Happy Weekend.

Valentine's Day called for a special Valentine's breakfast out with momma and poppa, especially since mommy was off the entire weekend. Ysabella got all dressed up in her special Valentine's Day outfit, courtesy of Tia Vicky (muchos gracias and big kisses!). After breakfast, we went to the Library for a special Valentine's Day story-time and craft session with lots of kids from the neighbourhood.

In other news, I think it's safe to say that Ysabella is ready for spring (just like her mum). She is already looking forward to playing in the rain and puddle jumping. Here she is all dressed up in her diaper, rubber boots and umbrella. And yes, we opened the umbrella in the house (oh no!) on Friday, the 13th (Eeeek!).

I suppose the weekend's not over for most people in Ontario due to the Family Day Holiday. Unfortunately, this holiday doesn't apply to the federal civil servants (sad but true, I know none of you can believe it!) and I of course, work on many holidays, regardless. So, it's the start of our work week tomorrow for both Ed and I, and unfortunately, Bella will be the only child at daycare. So sad. Hope everybody has a great long weekend, sleep in for us!
