Finally, Bella's Birthday Photos!

I can't believe our baby is 2! We had 7 children over on Saturday: special thanks to Jake & Mel (an extra special thank you to Bev and Jake for putting on their surprise skit), Charley & Sam, Gabriela, Sydney, and Baby Sam (and of course, to all their parents) who came to help us celebrate. We had a great time! Bella had a ton of fun with all the kids, but wasn't sure what to do with herself at times, and was even a bit overwhelmed. (At one point, she took me by the hand into her bedroom, closed the door and told me she wanted to sit in the rocking chair with me. Awww.) She handled it all in stride, though, and crashed hard at 830pm, way past her bedtime. (What I've realized? Our house is waaay too small for more than 4 or 5 people...)

Before the kiddies arrived and the festivities began, Ysabella was caught daydreaming of the fun to come.

Earlier in the day, when mummy brought home some balloons. Soo much fun!

Papa can't wait to try out this present in the spring time. (It's in the basement/furnace room until then, and she's already forgotten about it! Out of sight, out of mind.)

What a difference a year makes! A quick peak at Bella enjoying her birthday cake at 1 year. Crazy how much she's grown. To be honest, I hardly remember her that small. It's scary, really. Look at those little teeth, so small and far between... :(
