Ysa says Da-da !?

Well, 6 months has come and gone this past July 31st and we had our 3rd set of vaccinations today with Dr. Regimbal. Ysabella did extrememly well, as did her daddy (who is on vacation this week and was able to join us for the appointment). She now weighs in at 16 lbs 5 oz...and while on the scale she felt it necessary to empty her bladder. Oops!

Gramma Pat is here from Windsor to spend some quality time with all of us. Gramma is being a big help looking out for Ysabella while Ed and I finally landscape the front yard (and work on a million and one other jobs that we've been meaning to get to for quite a while!)

Here is some photos from her 6 month 'birthday'. I love this summer dress. They used to be my favourite when I was a little girl and I'm so happy that they're still popular enough to be able to find them these days. (Auntie Yvonne, the ones you bought for her are still a tad bit too big, but hopefully by the end of the month they will fit her!)


And finally, Ysabella has been doing quite a bit of laughing and talking lately. She even says 'dadadadada' quite regularly. Now Eddy swears this is Ysabella saying his name, but I'm not sure, I think it may be just babbling. You be the judge. There are two new videos to watch, links to the right. We were having fun with the video camera last evening when Ed was making Ysabella giggle and laugh with his week old stubble on her belly (try not to laugh at Ed's robe, circa 1982!) Pay particular attention to the video 'Babbling Bella' at about 56 seconds...is she saying 'dada' to her dada? or is she just babbling???
