Our Baby Girl is 4 !!

It's hard to believe, but in just 4 short years, my baby girl has gone from this:
to this:

Some days it feels like it was a really L O N G four years, but most days it feels like it went by in the blink of an eye. Even though her official birthday isn't until Monday, we celebrated Saturday by going to Starr Gymnastics with a group of friends for some out-of-the cold birthday activities & some exercise fun. (Then of course, we pigged out on pizza and cake!)

Before we left, I got a few shots of Bella & her baby brother.

As you can imagine, there were hundreds of photos taken today. I obviously can't post them all, but here's a small sampling.

Ysabella & Henry on the balance beam. He is one of her favourite friends, and even though he goes to school now, he still occasionally goes to daycare for half-days with her. (He teaches her about all the important things in a little boy's life, like about superheroes!)

A shot of the whole gaggle of kids getting ready to jump into the giant pit of foam blocks, while their party leader Macy Gray, I mean, Popcorn! (the back of her head is shown), gives them some instructions. (The entertainers at this place give themselves one-word names. I'm curious to know why she chose/what she did to deserve that name!)

Bella, trying sooo very hard to climb the 'Foam Mountain'!

Learning all about the trampolines...then it was their turn to jump! Soooo many good shots were taken here, but unfortunately, I don't have the time or space to post them all. :-(

Swing ropes, ladders & poles, balance beams, trampolines, foam pits & much, much more! So much to do!

Henry & Bella sneaking a peak at the party next door.

Balloon Fun!

Her Birthday cake this year. (From one of her favourite shows of the moment.)

Closing her eyes to make a wish before blowing out the candles.

Mommy & her big girl. (I was hoping to get a family shot this year, however, Alejandro was tremendously overtired and was screaming his head off at this point, and thus, not really up for smiling for photos.)

The kids gather to check out the birthday gifts.

Guess who!

Balloon Reflection Photo!

...and another one!

One very happy (and jacked up on candy & sugar!) little girl packing her loot bag to head home. (She was so tired that she fell asleep in the van ride home, as did Alejandro.)

A great big thank you to everyone who came to help us celebrate. I know it will be a birthday that she will remember for a long, long time. (And because so many cute shots were taken of the kids I will send them along via email to their respective parents in the days to come...) Special thanks to Yvo for helping to photograph the occasion! xo
