I thought I'd compile a list of things to do to keep busy on a cold and blustery day when there's a winter storm warning in effect, 20 cm of snow have already fallen, and another 25 cm is expected in the next 24 hours.
1. Eat your very first pancake breakfast with mommy. (No Aunt Jemimah to fall in love with here as Charely did, but she DID fall in love with her mum's yummy pancakes!)
2. Ponder life's complexities.
3. Babble.
4. Smile for the camera.
5. Look perturbed.
6. Chew on your brand new booties.
7. Steal your dolly's pacifier for yourself.
8. If Daddy was home, we could play with him and Kookie Bird. And play peek-a-boo with Daddy's bellybutton!
9. Play ball in the house.
10. If mommy is feeling REALLY adventurous, she could brave the snow and cold, dig the car out of the snow, and bundle up Ysabella into her winter clothes to go to playgroup or the local community pool for a swim.
11. And as a last resort, if she's really bored, Ysabella can practice her crawling, if she must. I know I've said this before, but she's ALMOST got it....
And finally, a video from this past weekend's visit to the local pool. Boy, does she ever love the water like her daddy, the Pisces!
Yay! An update! I was wondering if your computer had fallen in a snowbank, or something. Can you believe this weather? Cuba sure would be nice...
