Here's a series of action shots from today. She's learned a thing or two since her birth...(I know, I know, this may be super mundane for most people, but it's fascinating for her mommy & daddy to watch!)
When she was 'way younger', she learned to grasp objects with her hands. In this case, the object happens to be a wire whisk.
Next, she learned to reach for and manipulate objects, bringing them to herself to play with. Now, she's learning to push things away, and that includes dropping things. Dropping everything. Usually from high up. From the highchair, stroller, grocery cart, etc. Isn't that a fun game for mommy! Yah, maybe the first 50 or so times!!!!! Here she is looking out, way over the edge of the exersaucer, staking out the perfect place to drop said object.
Then, she drops it. And if she has dropped it just right, it has made lots of noise. She likes this part the best. The noise. Next, she looks at the object on the floor, as if to say: "Uh-oh! How did that get way down there????" And you know what comes next: The puppy dog eyes to mommy that say "please, please pick up my toy!!!" What I want to know is...does that qualify as manipulation already???? ;) Ah, it keeps us occupied and giggling!

Ysabella's 6 teeth are almost completely through her gums now. Wow! What teeth can do to change the look of a little person's face. Here's a photo of a very toothy baby taken post bath tonite.

And last, but not least...a new video of baby Bella. Playing patty-cake and being plain ol' silly.
Oh Ysa.....a little girl who squeals with delight at the thought of shopping......you are MY kind of baby! Cher, kiss that wet toothy mouth of hers for me, and those chipmunk cheeks...xoxox
