This & That.

It's been a roller coaster past few weeks, and as usual, it was busy, busy. As a result, Beaniebaby has been pushed down to the bottom of the To-Do List.

So, quickly, here's some of my favourite pictures from the last 3 weeks, along with a few words about each photo.

Playdate! A few weeks ago I had some of my dearest friends over with their babies. I'm very lucky to have such wonderful people in my life. Oh, the stories that we shared!!
Trying to get all 4 babies to smile at the same time is next to impossible. (But it was really fun trying!) And poor Stella. First, her head is used as an armrest, then it's used as a pacifier. (Those big kids...always picking on the little ones!)
From L. to R.: Louka, Alex, Stella and Mae Ella.
Louka is 3 days older than Stella. (2 mos old) and
Mae Ella is 10 days older than Alex (7 mos old).
This one was taken one afternoon, as Bella tried to make her little brother laugh. (She is successful every time.)
Despite the snow yesterday (*$%!!!!) spring MUST be here because THE DUCKS tell me so!
This is how my little man sleeps, with his wee little butt waaay up in the air and his knees usually tucked. Simply scrumptious.

"Hello down there!"

These past few weeks included a 6 day road trip to Windsor for Alex and I. (Bella stayed home with her papa.) It was a L-O-N-G drive. Thank goodness for Gruncle Randy & Grauntie Cathy! (xoxo)

'Riding along in my automobile...'
(okay, let me clarify that he is not actually driving the vehicle! The car is parked at a rest stop! No neglect here, nope...at least not in this form...)

It wasn't long before he was fast asleep.

The drive was long, but we were in good company. Besides, seeing my mom slur her words like a drunken sailor within 15 minutes of taking 2 valium (pre-op) made it all worthwhile!!! ;-)

Alex, amusing himself as he waits for gramma to come out of surgery.

Oh, hey! Alex found a friend to keep him company!

Oh, and timbits always help pass the time, too! (Kidding!)

Enjoying a cup of coffee and some morning conversation with Smokey.
(And even though I'll never understand why Smokey willingly wakes up that early on his own every day, I was very glad to have some company each and every morning.)

Getting to know Jade.

Oh, and the other thing that made it fantastically worth the 11 hour drive to Windsor? 27 degree celsius weather on April 10th! It was so warm I stripped Alex down to his onesie.
Simply splendid!
