Easter, part two.

Just before Easter, I found myself taking an informal poll: Easter egg hunt indoors or outdoors? My parents always had us hunting for eggs and chocolate indoors. Ditto for Ed. Many friends on the other hand, grew up with Easter egg hunts outdoors. This year's weather was certainly conducive for egg hunting outdoors, however, call me lazy, but the thought of getting out of my warm comfy bed at 6am to go outside and hide eggs for Ysabella didn't exactly sound appealing. So, indoors it was. (At 6am, it was a unanimous decision!) Ysabella had a blast as she hunted for the colourful eggs and she was more than happy to have a lollipop and chocolate for breakfast. Most of the time, we try to be mindful of the amount of junkfood she consumes, so we ever-so-cleverly recycled some of the (still not stale!) hallowe'en candy mixed with a few little spring toys/crafts, such as a skip rope, new bubbles, and bug-exploring tools. She was not disappointed, and it was so much fun for us to watch her search the house and find the treats. She was awfully proud of herself. (Too bad I'm still finding that darn pink easter grass all over the house!)
