OUCH!

Ysabella received her first set of vaccinations yesterday from Dr. Sara. One in each leg. She cried and cried and if any of you are familiar with her temper-tantrum cry (her 'spanish' temper as Ed calls it), than you know just how loud it really was. Fortunately, it wasn't anything that nursing her wasn't able to fix. And lots of infant Tylenol. Every 4 hours for the next 24 hours. She developed a cute little pink tongue from the cherry flavoured syrup and she's smart enough to know that the medicine isn't her usual Vitamin D. She did well overall, but I think her legs are still sore as she's been sleeping lots yesterday and today. And oh those sad eyes. She goes from very happy and smiley one minute to very upset the next. She was unconsolable for a brief period late last evening. Made her mama cry too. But we're doing better today.
She's looking forward to feeling better and to meeting all of her family and new friends in Windsor this weekend. Will have lots to post when we return, I'm sure.
