More Weekend Pics

Ysabella has been blowing bubbles and drooling enough to fill a small swimming pool as of lately, not to mention being a big crankpot for her mummy. They say (in 'What to Expect The First Year', my bible...thanks again Maria!) that this teething process can begin as early as 10 weeks, which is exactly how old Ysabella was yesterday. I'm sure it will be many more weeks, if not months, before teeth actually erupt, but they say it really depends on genetics; ie; if mom or dad were early teethers. I have no idea if that was the case for either Ed or I. So, here's to hoping it will be a long while still...I happen to like my gummy baby just the way she is. She's already growing way too fast!

No need to see Ed and I!...It's all about 'The Baby' (Seinfeld reference...Anybody??)

After years and years of wanting a baby sister or brother, Jacob had to settle for a baby cousin (okay, 2 baby cousins...) When asked what he thought of Ysabella, he replied: "She's cute, but she cries too much" (not to mention she's a girl). That's a 10 year old for you!
Ed thought Auntie Amy was a natural with Ysabella (she does have a 10 year old, afterall) and he wanted her to come home with us to be our nanny. But she wanted medical and dental and we couldn't afford that. Oh well. Here she is trying to make Ysabella suck her fingers the way she did when she was a baby (...or teaching her the fine art of bulimia. Okay, bad joke.) Ysabella wants nothing to do with any of it.
