Ed and I went away this past Labour Day weekend to Niagara Falls, Ontario to attend the Wedding of our friends Michelle and Lou. It's been a long courtship (12 years!) to which I say "Finally...it's about time!! Congratulations!" It was a beautiful ceremony despite the rainy, windy weather, thanks to the remnants of Hurricane Ernesto. The ceremony and reception were indoors thankfully, so the bride didn't have to worry about her hair or
make-up...and she was radiant. She looked absolutely stunning, and Lou didn't look so bad himself! Now they're off to beautiful Portugal for their honeymoon and we wish them tonnes of fun and romance! As for beaniebaby...I was 17 weeks this past Friday and all is well. Really well. The nausea is gone, yep, GONE! I can't tell you how good it feels to just feel normal!! I'm just starting to get a little ponch (sp?) and I think I can tell when the baby's moving...they say it's so ambiguous at first... baby should weigh about 150 grams by now and is about 12 cm from crown to rump. I've included a photo of myself and Ed to show my growing belly, for those of you who have been wanting a pic of me posted. Ed jokes that he, too, is getting a sympathy belly...I don't see it, he still looks as good as ever to me!
