Anticipation.

It was a much needed rainy day here in Ottawa today. The grass and plants were getting way too dry. All 3 of us were home today, and Bella treated Ed and I to a much needed, almost 3-hour sleep in! Instead of her usual 6-630 am wake up time, she slept in until 9am! Woot! Woot! We had a yummy pancake breakfast (one of Bella's favourites), and we played in the house for most of the day. She really loves playing hide-and-seek, she laughs her butt off when she finds the person, and it's the good kind of laugh, the right-from-the-gutt laughter that can't help but make you laugh your butt off as well.

Even though she doesn't know who Dora is yet, she's really good at saying her name and she loves to bounce and sit in this chair. Here, she is playing with her daddy's keys (which is okay, as long as you don't give her the keys to play with while she's being buckled in her carseat. If you do that, then she's able to lock the doors, all the doors, without one's knowledge. Then that certain somebody closes the back door to get in the driver's seat, only to realize that she's in the car, buckled in her carseat, and the keys are in the car with her, while all 4 doors are locked.) Okay, I'll confess, that certain somebody was me a few months ago! Thank goodness it wasn't a hot day. I called Ed, who was only about 10 min away, but I'm certain I looked completely silly as I jumped around to keep her laughing at me while we waited so she wouldn't cry. Needless to say, she doesn't play with my car keys anymore.


Finally, Bella is anticipating Tito and Tita's visit (from British Columbia) to Ottawa in the weeks to come.
