Bella's Belly Laughs!

I've been neglecting the blog lately, so sorry. Work. Life. Work. Life. You know how it goes. Family in town visiting. (YAY!) Auntie Amy and cousin Jacob came into town on Friday evening for their annual summer visit to the capital. Saturday was actually sunny and very summer-like, so we had a pool party all afternoon. Guests included Bella's friend Adam (and his parents), and her cousins Loren, Calvin, and Laney (and their dad Ed) who were also in town (from Toronto).

Today we finally made it over to visit Baby Sam. (No, the other Baby Sam!) He's growing big and strong thanks to his mommy, and he's definitely getting more interactive. Except when he's milk drunk. Apparently, there's no waking him then. Bella didn't really find him very interesting. Nothing personal, I think she just found the new house and all that room to roam around way too stimulating. (I, on the other hand, got to have some quality snuggle time with Sam before he grows too big!) Bella thought his toys were way cool, though.

Lovely weather the past two days, but today was different story. What a crazy storm! We were caught in it while driving in Quebec. Could barely see in front of the car. Jacob entertained Ysabella in the back seat while Amy captured a video. Bella was laughing like this for a good 10 minutes, but unfortunately, we only caught the tail end of it, so by this time, the giggles were starting to wear off. Still makes me laugh, though. That's what big cousins are for!
