Another day has come and gone and I can't believe how the days fly by since becoming a mom. Luckily, we seem to already be settling into somewhat of a routine, yet already there doesn't seem to be enough hours in the day to get the things done that I want to. My mom is still here in Ottawa helping us out. Ed is thinking of sabotaging her car so she has to stay longer as her help has been invaluable to us, despite the shrinking of the pants episode! The plan is that she'll stay until February 15th, though we're trying desperately to convince her to stay longer, without any luck thus far.

Ed is loving fatherhood and is slowly learning to multi-task, something all new parents (and yes, even the men) must learn to do. Check out the Mr. Mom photo...
Ysabella had her first visitor to the house today, Laurie-Ann came to meet her. She was on her best behaviour of course, and Laurie says her ovaries were quivering...

We received some lovely flowers yesterday from Tito and Tita Rama in Victoria...they certainly brighten up our house!
Here are a few photos of you-know-who from earlier today. (The way I'm going, there is going to be thousands of photos from her first year alone!) She seems to be a little bit jaundiced but it shouldn't be a problem with the amount of eating, pooing and peeing that she is doing. She has her first doctor's appointment tomorrow, so we'll have it checked out then, we'll have to dress warm as the temp. is supposed to be -17 C !

She doesn't look jaundiced! Now, Charley, he looked like a canary. Ed's lookin' good. I like the paci. clip on him. Nice touch. Is that so he can self-sooth himself back to sleep?
