Christmas Day 2006 (a week late!)
Happy Holidays to everyone! This Christmas Day post is a week or so late, but as 'they' say, better late than never! I have a lot of catching up to do! Ed & I slept in quite late on our last Christmas morning child-free. We were thinking of waiting to open our gifts until my mom and nephew came to town to visit, but decided we were too excited after all. Ed started with the spiced rum and cokes as soon as he awoke (it's tradition, he's not an alcoholic!) and then off we went, ripping into the wrapping paper like kids. This Christmas day was snow free her
e in Ottawa, with some snow falling in the days after Christmas. It was a lovely lazy day followed by a spectacular turkey dinner at Paul, Will and Adam's house (thanks guys for your hospitality!). We both ate sooo much and to no surprise, I had indigestion until 6am the next morning. Not kidding. I felt like my abdomen was going to split open! Here's some photos of our favourite gifts from this year...and not to forget about our baby that's on the way, thanks to everyone from BC for the lovely gifts, especially for our 'bible to be' the 'What To Expect The First Year' book, courtesy
of Maria and family.
