The Birthday, Part 2.

On Saturday, we sang Happy Birthday to Alex. He didn't even mind, meaning, he didn't even cry. I guess we just weren't loud enough? And the good news? He doesn't just love eating sand! but he loves eating my cupcakes, too. (Phew.) (For those of you on Facebook, sorry, lots of these are repeats and this may be old news to you. A mom can only take so many photos and do so much photo editing!) ;)

While on our walk the day before, out of nowhere, a birthday present appeared in the middle of the street!!

Turns out it was a birthday present for Alex from our good friends, who were waiting behind the tree to surprise him! It was so awesome!

Balloons, books and friends. A perfect birthday combination. He was pretty content. :)
