Lake Erie.

I was looking forward to visiting Windsor for a few reasons. One of those reasons was because I was almost desperate to finally feel hot summer-like temperatures even if that meant I was going to have to suffer through the heat and humidity that is so common in southwestern Ontario. But alas, it wasn't to be. As it was in Ottawa, the weather in Windsor was for the most part, unseasonably cool. One might even say (Anjee & Jeff to be exact), that it was downright cold one evening. I'd have to agree. (You guys are troopers!)

There were a few days where the weather was beautiful. One of those days we spent in the country with family and we went to a secluded beach on Lake Erie. I swear Bella should be a pisces like her papa, because boy, does she ever love the water.

Lake Erie Shoreline.

Bella's cousin Jacob poses for me. He's one cool dude.

Then he walks on water. Wow! (The ladies will love this one...) ;)

Well, her clothes stayed on for about 15 minutes. And yes, the water was cold but clearly she didn't mind.

The sand monster! (I'd show the front view, but I need to give the child some sense of privacy. Picture sand up to her chin. Yep, she pretty much rolled around in it.)

That's all for tonite!
More pics to follow when toddler mayhem allows me a spare moment. (Maybe I should do some overtime shifts just to give myself a break? Yes, toddler mayhem is kicking our butts right about now...)
