Today was a rather rainy day here in Ottawa. In fact, so much rain fell that I had to go outside to drain the pool a tad bit before it overflowed. The dark dreary weather proved to be the perfect backdrop for a lazy day with the little one. We played inside, listened to lots of activity music, and took our naps together. Ysabella practiced more of her sitting up and I am proud to say that she can now sit all alone for up to about 30 seconds, before she gets tired back muscles and falls forward or off to the side. Oh how hard it is to be a baby!
Here she is sitting like a big girl (still drooling tons and thus, the bib, but no teeth to report on just yet).
...and helping mum with the laundry yesterday. She quite enjoyed sitting and playing in the laundry basket. (Oh, it's the simple things, the simple things...)
