'Tis the season

It's that time of year again for spiced rum and coke (only for Ed of course!) and hot chocolate for me...must be Christmas time! Ed took his mind off of not being able to play soccer on Thursday evening (due to a sore back) by putting up the Christmas tree. And what a beautiful tree it is, considering it was all tied up when he picked it out and tied it to the top of the car in -20 C weather. We missed our old wood burning fireplace as we listened to the Charlie Brown Christmas CD and decorated the tree. Ed's already getting excited to watch his annual 12 hours of The Lord of The Rings Trilogy...perhaps I'll join him this year in the festivities. Here's a few pictures to take a gander at.
